Loretto is a not-for-profit organization committed to the mission of honoring, serving, and empowering every elder and those who care for them to live with purpose, wholeness, and dignity. Loretto has served the community since 1926, and is the largest provider of elder care services in Upstate New York.
In order to fulfill this mission in the most meaningful way, the Loretto Board of Trustees adopted a statement of values, establishing guiding principles for the organization that include Integrity, Respect, Concern for Elders, Excellence and Collaboration.
The Loretto Board of Trustees, governing the organization is composed of volunteers from the community who are committed to serving the elders.
Throughout its history, Loretto has focused on responding to community needs in an innovative, caring fashion. Today, Loretto serves nearly 6,000 individuals a year through its extensive network of services.
