Our Staff

Residents of The Heritage typically remain under the care of their personal physician, which is often a comfort to both residents and their families. In addition, the medical staff at The Heritage includes a part-time nurse practitioner to assist with medical needs, such as writing prescriptions.

The professionally licensed staff at The Heritage includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified home health aides, two recreation therapists, administrators, dining service staff, and maintenance and housekeeping staffs.

Special Alzheimer’s disease and dementia aide training in-service topics at The Heritage include:

  • Assisting residents with medications
  • Causes of dementia
  • Communicating to people with dementia
  • Dealing with combative behaviors
  • Validation therapy
  • Wandering

A Word from the Administrator:

“The Heritage is able to offer Enriched and Assisted Living Program services to adults living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia in a warm, home-like atmosphere. We understand that caring for a loved one with dementia is a physically and emotionally exhausting job due to the need for their 24-hour supervision and continuous care. Our staff is trained to handle these demands so that family members can visit and spend quality time with their loved ones without the pressure of providing for their daily care needs.”
