Assisted Living Program

The Assisted Living Program at The Bernardine is for medically stable individuals who qualify for placement in a nursing home facility and are eligible for Medicaid.

In addition to standard services in our Enriched Living Program, the Assisted Living Program also provides:

  • Reminders and escorts to meals
  • Assistance with oxygen therapy and glucose monitoring
  • Daily personal assistance with bathing, grooming and bathroom assistance
  • Assistance with occasional transfers from bed to chair
  • Health care professionals on staff 24 hours a day with Registered Nurse supervision
